Wolf Pack’s Hockey Game & Anti-Bullying Program Field Trip

On Wednesday, November 4, 205, the sixth grade students are traveling to the XL Center in Hartford to see the Wolf Pack’s Anti-Bullying game against the Toronto Marlies.  This trip directly supports the sixth grade Health and Physical Education curriculums which focus on bullying prevention.

Every aspect of this game is designed to encourage students to be kind to one another and help the Wolf Pack end bullying in Connecticut school by introducing the “See something, say something” campaign.  Students and teachers in attendance will take a Kindness Pledge during the game to help ensure that students will display good sportsmanship and kindness to others.  In addition, students will receive an educational booklet with ties to health, language arts, math, physics, and more!

Students will leave school at approximately 9:00 am and return at 1:15 pm.  Students need to bring a lunch as we will be eating at the game.  The cost is $12.00 per student.  Please have your child return the attached permission slip to his or her PE teacher by October 20th.

Payments for this field trip are to be made through  Instructions on how to do this are attached.  If you have any questions or problems setting up the account, call Mrs. Bernardi at 860-258-7741.

Any questions regarding the field trip itself should be directed to Ms. White (, Mrs. Skrzypiec (, or Mr. Gilbert (
